Globetrotters To Visit Memorial Hospital

smile_patrol_logo-200x200SOUTH BEND – The Harlem Globetrotters’ Smile Patrol are set to make some child smile this Monday at the Memorial Children’s Hospital in South Bend.

Flight Time Lang of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters will visit children at the hospital at 1:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, as part of an outreach program through the Globetrotters’ organization. Lang and the Globetrotter Smile Patrol use the program to brighten the day and spirits of special fans unable to attend a Globetrotters game. Smile Patrol visits over 200 children’s hospitals worldwide annually, spreading joy and creating lifetime memories.

Flight Time will be visiting with patients, showing them his signature Harlem Globetrotter ball handling, signing autographs, and sharing some laughs.

The Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their spectacular 2015 Washington Generals’ “Revenge” World Tour to Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. More information can be found at www.harlemglobetrotters.com.
