Yeo Leads Bethel To Big Win
Sophomore Clay Yeo, who earlier in the day found out his younger brother was going to have surgery due to a tumor found on his pelvis, put on a clinic scoring 29 points to go along with six rebounds and three assists. Senior Matt Schauss added 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
The Pilots (15-2, 3-2) also received great minutes from underclassmen Ryan Wassink and Chris Mitchell. Wassink scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Mitchell, a freshman guard from Mishawaka High School added nine points, six rebounds and two assists off the bench for Bethel.
Bethel will return home Saturday, January 10 to face former Butler and Iowa head coach Todd Licklitner and his Marian University Knights. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
