Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:55 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Audrey K. Lemons, 61, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg, and Janie K. Hearld, 62, West Wolf Road, Columbia City. Lemons reportedly attempted to turn from a southbound lane into a eastbound parking lane when she realized she was going the wrong way. Upon backing into the southbound lane again, Lemons did not see Hearld’s car and backed into the side door. Damage up to $5,000.

5:12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, East Market Street, west of South Park Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Amy M. Kintigh, 38, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, and Rick A. Cutigni, 61, Marcelle Drive, Fort Wayne. Kintigh was headed east on Market Street when Cutigni’s vehicle, two cars ahead of Kintigh’s, stopped in order to turn into the Dollar General parking lot. The car in between the cars of Kintigh and Cutigni reportedly swerved to miss Cutigni’s car, but Kintigh was unable to do so. Damage up to $10,000.
