More than $50,000 in stolen property has landed a Syracuse man behind bars and police say more arrests are possible.

Ronald Charles Bohn, 8772 E. Koher Rd., was taken into custody Wednesday when Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department officers served a search warrant. Officers initially assisted an officer of the Indiana Department of Corrections Enforcement Division at Bohn’s home believing he had violation his parole.

Officers initially found what they believed to be a large amount of marijuana in Bohn’s home. After obtaining a search warrant, officers re-entered the home and located five firearms, two safes and lock boxes, prescription medications, jewelry, electronics, coins and even artifacts. All of the items are believed to have been stolen from homes in the northern part of Kosciusko County over the past several months.

Bohn was preliminarily charged with felony theft/possession of stolen items as well as felony possession of marijuana. Kosciusko County Prosecutor Dan Hampton had not yet set bond.
