The Triton High School wrestling team edged past North Miami for a 34-33 win Tuesday night.

The Trojans got a big win from Justin Hefner at heavyweight. Hefner defeated Evan Beevch by a 3-2 count.

The winning Trojans also got victories by pins from Grant Stichter (152), Nick Harker 9145), Gage Waddle (160) and Nate Spangle (182) in the win. Stichter pinned his foe in just 51 seconds to lead the way. Harker won by pin in 1:36, Waddle in 1:25 and Spangle in 3:34.

Also winning by decisions for Triton were Malachi Green by a 6-2 final at 113 and Lee Mullett by an 8-7 count at 126.
