Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

2:44 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, North SR 13, near North CR 650E, Syracuse. Drivers: Peggy A. Page, 37, East Columbia Street, Pierceton, and James A. Brumbaugh, 66, North CR 250E, Milford. Passenger: Shaun M. Church, 37, CR 27, New Paris, passenger in Page’s car. Page was headed south on SR 13 when she reportedly drifted into the northboud lane, striking Brumbaugh head on. Page was taken by helicopter to Lutheran hospital for serious leg and internal injuries. Church was taken to Goshen hospital for facial injuries. Damage up to $100,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:06 p.m. Monday, Dec 15, 3611 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Charles L. Spillman, 87, EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg. Spillman reportedly accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake while parking in front of McDonald’s, driving his car into the front of the store. Damage up to $10,000.

9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, North Detroit Street and East Fort Wayne streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Betty Boyd, 63, West 12th Street, Owensboro, Ky., and John W. Malott, 47, South CR 425W, Silver Lake. Boyd was reportedly heading north on Detroit Street when she ran a red light at the Fort Wayne Street intersection and ran into Malott’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
