ALBION – Wawasee used a pair of big scoring nights to edge Central Noble, 46-40, Thursday night in boys freshman hoops.

John Kennedy led the Warriors with 19 points and Trevon Coleman had a huge night as well, scoring 16 points and pulling down seven rebounds.

As a team, Wawasee made 16 of 22 free throws to help its cause, moving to 3-0 on the season.

Wawasee will return home to host Jimtown Monday evening.
