AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School boys basketball teams notched three wins Wednesday night.

Wes Melanson scored 20 points as the Valley 8th grade A team defeated Northfield 48-37. Jake Gearhart had 15 points for the winners.

The Valley 7th grade A team topped Northfield 40-32. Tanner Trippiedi had 11 points and Cade Brouyette nine for Valley in the win.

Valley’s 6th grade B team bested Triton 20-13. Jose Espinoza and Trey Hardesty each had six points for the winners.

Triton topped Valley by a 42-29 final in a 6th grade A team contest. Chase Miller scored 13 points and Payton Mills six to lead Valley.
