Sandy McClellan’s sixth grade students are reaching out to our United States Military during the holiday season by sending them Christmas stockings full of goodies and encouraging notes.

This is the third year that Sandy McClellan has partnered with Jennifer Kauffman from Vein Institute and Medi Spa to brighten Christmas or Halloween for those serving our country overseas.

Kauffman sponsored the class and provided all of the materials. The stockings were stuffed with the added touch of a personal note, written by sixth grade students from the class, and were then donated to “Treasures for Troops,” represented by Susan Manns.

Manns stated, “I picked up 20 stockings from them, which means 20 more deployed service members will be hearing from home this Christmas, thanks to these wonderful young men and women!”
