WCS Students Enriching Lives At Community Soup Kitchen

For the fifth year, students of Jennifer Phillips, a special education teacher for Warsaw Community Schools Gateway Educational Center and Holly Fancil, teacher of MoCD/SCD – Gateway Educational Center, sponsored meals at the Community Soup Kitchen.

The students teamed up with Brad Sutter of OrthoCity BBQ to help raise funds, along with donations from family and friends to purchase the food.

The students shopped for ingredients, cooked and served the food at the Community Soup Kitchen. The students gained important community and life skills, enjoyed baking 300 cookies for the event and were a prime example of enriching the lives of
others
