GOLFERS REMAIN UNDEFEATED
Add two more wins to the impressive total for the Warsaw boys golf team.
The No. 6 Tigers made it a perfect 9-0 on the spring with a pair of conference wins Tuesday.
Senior star Tyler Ostrom and Jon Schram each shot a 35 as Warsaw shot a team score of 151 to defeat Northridge (162) and Concord (168) in Middlebury Tuesday.
Warsaw, now 5-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference, also got a 40 from Jonny Hollar, a 41 from Bennett Hollar and a 43 from Tim Ahlersmeyer in the varsity match.
Will Erekson shot 38 to lead Northridge and Tim Johnson’s 40 paced Concord.
Jared Essig was medalist with a 39 as the Tiger JV team also improved to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in NLC play. Warsaw shot 169, while both Northridge and Concord shot 197.
Evan and Ryan Cultice each shot a 43 for the JV Tigers and Will Petro shot 44 and Brandon Eckert 45.
Warsaw hosts NorthWood and Goshen in the final regular-season league matches Thursday at Stonehenge at 5 p.m. The Tigers will then compete in the NLC Tournament at Bent Oak in Elkhart Saturday.

TENNIS TEAM FALLS TO CGA
The Warsaw girls tennis team lost 4-1 to Culver Academy in the final regular-season match of the season Tuesday at WCHS.
The Tigers, who open sectional play Wednesday, went with a shuffled lineup in the contest.  Standout Sarah Hartle, the team’s lone senior and No. 1 singles player, did not play in the match.
Winning for Warsaw was its No. 1 doubles team of Olivia Wallin and Taylor  Moore.
Jacqueline Sasso lost at No. 1 singles, while Sarah Boyle lost at No. 2 and Rachel Alexander at No. 3  for the Tigers. The No. 2 doubles team of Mallory Bartel and Abbi Baum also lost.
Warsaw lost 7-5 in the  JV match. Winning for the Tigers were the doubles teams of Shelby Roberts and Tiffany Weaver, Wesley Cowan and  Kinzie Riley, Sydney Hartman and Mallory Stiver, Danielle Straights and Ashley Neubaum and Abby Steger and Angel Jackson.
Warsaw’s varsity, which is 7-6, plays Wawasee Wednesday in the sectional opener at WCHS at 5 p.m.
