CHURUBUSCO – It wasn’t a pretty night for the LCA girls basketball team.
Churubusco (2-1) was on all cylinders Tuesday night, walloping Lakeland Christian Academy 81-32.
Hannah Delp paced the Lady Cougars (1-2) with 11 points, hitting one of her two three-point attempts. Melissa Goss scored eight points and Carrissa Urshalitz tallied six points while Rachel Sand, who had averaged 19 points in her first two games, was held to just five points by the Busco defense.
LCA, which opened with three straight road games, will finally tip off at home when Michigan City Marquette Catholic visits Friday evening.
