Two Illinois men were arrested by Plymouth Police Sunday after an armed robbery at The Cellular Connection, 1605 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.

Brandon M. Terrell, 26, Kankakee, Ill., and Deshontay L. Lewis, 27, Bourbonnais, Ill., were booked in the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of armed robbery, a level 3 felony.

The employee, who was able to get free of the restraints, provided descriptions of the two suspects.

Police located a white Ford leaving the area at a high rate of speed with two male occupants, matching the descriptions given by the victim. A pursuit began after officers attempted to stop the vehicle. The pursuit continued to the south side of South Bend and  ended when the suspects vehicle became disabled. The two fled, but were apprehended following a foot pursuit.

Inside the vehicle were the stolen cell phones.
