WINONA LAKE – Freshman Abby Schue posted yet another shutout victory for  the Grace College women’s soccer team to earn her third Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week award on Monday.

Schue, who was an All-League winner at the end of the regular season, helped Grace to a 1-0 victory over Huntington in the Crossroads League Tournament Saturday night.

Schue, who played at Warsaw Community High School, made three saves in 90 minutes, notching her sixth consecutive shutout to propel Grace into the tournament semifinals. Grace has not surrendered a goal with Schue as goalkeeper since Oct. 8.

Grace will host St. Francis in Saturday’s Crossroads League Tournament semifinal clash at 3 p.m. at Miller Field.
