The Lakeland Christian Academy girls track team ended its season in style Thursday night.
The Cougars set three school records in defeating Fort Wayne Canterbury, Elkhart Christian and Blackhawk Christian in a meet at Canterbury.
Jo Boren broke the school standard in winning the 200 in 26.4, while Hailey Nieveen set a new mark in the 300 hurdles in 49.5. The 3,200 relay team of Emilee Catron, Ashley Plastow,  Hannah Remington and Erika Goshorn  also set a record in 11:43.
LCA scored 76 points to top Canterbury (68), Elkhart Christian (37) and Blackhawk Christian (4).
Boren also won the long jump and 400, while Nieveen won the 100 hurdles. Ashley Ormsby won both the shot put and discus and Emilee Catron captured the 800 for coach Scott Nieveen’s team.
Chad Wright won the 300 hurdles and placed second in the high jump for the LCA boys team at Canterbury Thursday.
