NIPSCO is currently experiencing scattered outages due to high winds across northern Indiana. Warsaw has a reported 240 customers without power.

The first outage was reported at 3:48 p.m. Friday.

As of 3 p.m. Central Time, approximately 20,000 customers were without power. NIPSCO crews are working to assess the damage.

Persons are asked to stay away from any downed power lines and crews working in the area.

Customers without power can report an outage from a smart phone or other mobile device, on a computer via NIPSCO.com or by calling NIPSCO Customer Service at (800) 464-7726.
