MARSHALL PACES SOFTBALL WIN
Kendra Marshall had a huge day at the dish as Warsaw beat NorthWood 12-2 in a Northern Lakes Conference game Wednesday at WCHS.
The senior went 4-4, hitting for the cycle. Marshall hit her fifth homer of the season and had five RBI in the victory.
Kelsey Dotson smacked her seventh homer of the season and added a double for the Tigers.
Cari O’Hara fired a three-hitter for her 11th pitching win for Warsaw (13-7, 9-2).
NorthWood won the JV game 12-0.
Warsaw hosts undefeated Northridge Friday at 5 p.m.
PANTHERS EDGE TIGERS
Host NorthWood topped Warsaw 3-2 in a Northern Lakes Conference baseball game Wednesday in Nappanee.
Austin Moore had two hits with a triple for the Tigers. Jason Ferguson had two hits for Warsaw (10-10, 5-6).
NorthWood won the JV game 14-13 in eight innings. Peter Shephed led Warsaw with four hits.
Warsaw plays at Northridge Friday at 5 p.m.
