A record-setting performance by Hailey Nieveen helped Lakeland Christian Academy defeat Elkhart Christian 64-39 in girls track action Monday in Elkhart.

Nieveen set a school record in winning the 100 hurdles in 16.43. She also won the 300 hurdles and ran on the first place mile relay team. Jo Boren and Ashley Ormsby each won two events for LCA, while  the 3200 meter relay team of Emilee Catron, Ashley Plastow, Hannah Remington and Erika Goshorn took first place with their best time of the year.
LCA finishes their season at Fort Wayne Canterbury Thursday.

Elkhart Christian won the boys meet by a 100-21 final.
Chad Wright led LCA  by placing first in the high jump and 300 hurdles while John Rohrs placed second in the 100, 200 and 400 races. The boys team will conclude their season  Thursday at Fort Wayne Canterbury.
