LIGONIER – Whitko’s Brigit Nemitz competed Saturday in the West Noble Cross Country Regional.

Nemitz finished in 43rd place overall with a time of 21:44.

Fort Wayne Carroll won the regional team championship with a team score of 38.

Host West Noble finished in fifth place to earn a spot in the New Haven Semistate set for Saturday at IPFW.

Also earning semistate qualifying berths Saturday were the teams from Homestead, DeKalb and Columbia City.
