ALBION – Central Noble topped Whitko 3-0 in prep volleyball action Monday night.

The hosts posted a 25-14, 25-21, 25-16 win over the Wildcats.

Maddie Gawthrop led the way for Whitko with seven kills and four blocks.

Delaney Ray had six kills and Kaitlyn Reed had six kills and 18 digs for the Wildcats. Setter Elaine Warner had 23 assists.

Whitko won the junior varsity match 22-25, 25-18, 15-10. Haley Yohe had 12 assists for the winners.

Whitko plays at Garrett tonight. The Wildcats then face Fairfield next Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Class 3-A Fairfield Sectional.
