Karen Elaine Foegley and Patrick Ryan Dunkerly were married in an outdoor double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m. March 23 at Crystal Springs Golf Course, Burlingame, Calif. Pastor Shannon Pappas officiated, with 65 guests in attendance.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Susan Foegley, Warsaw. The groom is the son of Michael Dunkerly and the late Kathleen Dunkerly, Sacramento, Calif.
Jessica Lee, friend of the bride from Los Angeles, Calif., was maid of honor. Stefanie Essick, sister of the bride from Warsaw, and Melissa Slavick, friend of the bride from San Jose, Calif., were bridesmaids. Matthew Dunkerly, Colorado Springs, Colo., was best man. Josh Pelletier and Luke Hewitt, Sacramento, Calif., were groomsmen. Ben Essick, brother-in-law of the bride from Warsaw, was usher.
A reception was held in the indoor clubhouse at the golf course, overlooking Crystal Springs Reservoir. Guitar and flute music was provided during the reception by Ben and Stefanie Essick. A May reception will also be held in Warsaw.
A short wedding trip to Monterey, Calif., is planned for July, to be followed with a trip to the East Coast in May 2013.
Karen is currently employed as an audiology assistant at The Hearing Resource Center, San Mateo, Calif. She is a 2006 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and a 2008 graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Los Angeles. Patrick is co-lead at Perfect World Entertainment, San Mateo, Calif.. He graduated high school in 1999 in Sacramento and is a 2003 graduate of University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
The newlyweds reside in San Mateo.
