Recently members of the Pierceton Lions Club gave a dictionary to each student in the third-grade at Pierceton Elementary School.

The club has provided these for many years. Teachers, Kathy Garber, Julie Underhill and Tasha Kinney were very excited about getting this wonderful gift for the students to use in their class rooms.

The students will be allowed to keep them when school is finished at the end of this year. It is believed that a dictionary is an important tool for a quality education. It is a great way to expand a student’s vocabulary.
