UPDATE: Milford Fire Department has returned to the station after being called out at approximately 10:10 p.m. to investigate an odor in the area of Section and Higbee streets.

It is believed the odor had dissipated as a search of the southern portion of the town resulted in no odor being located.

INITIAL REPORT: Milford Fire Department has been called to the area of Section and Higbee streets to investigate an odor and to find it’s origin.

The odor was reported around the Turkey Creek Drive area a short time earlier.

There is no cause for alarm at this time.
