Warsaw Frosh Football Loses First

Warsaw Sports LogoMIDDLEBURY – The Warsaw freshman football team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night.

Host Northridge topped the Tigers by a 28-14 final in Northern Lakes Conference play.

Will McGarver had 18 rushes for 134 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense for the Tigers.

Luke Delp was 10-20 passing for 90 yards with one touchdown pass. Trevor York had a touchdown catch for the Tigers.

Leytan Perry led the defense with five tackles and two sacks. Michael Gordon had three tackles and Sky Knisley two.

Warsaw is now 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the NLC.

The frosh Tigers host Goshen next Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
