Warsaw Police Department

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Tuesday, Sept. 23, 5:03 p.m. Center Street near Taft Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Bryan D. Hunter, 30, Meadowbrook, Springfield, Mo.; Zackary M. Jones, 19, Heron Blvd., Warsaw. Hunter claimed to be distracted by a heavily-smoking lawnmower driving along Center Street and rear-ended Jones. Jones stated he was also watching the lawnmower. Damages: up to $10,000

Tuesday, Sept. 23, 4:53 p.m. 200 block of Gilliam Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Nicolasa Marquez, 45, Rosemont Ave., Warsaw. Marquez struck a light pole in the parking lot. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage. Damages: up to $5,000
