She was born on May 1, 1953, in Kewanee, Ill., to Marshall D. and Alice N. (King) Bernard.

She enjoyed being a cyber-farmer in FarmVille. She enjoyed genealogy, but most of all, loved her grandkids.

She is survived by her partner in life and love: Dave Tucker, Ligonier, Ind.; her children: Carol Edwards, Ligonier; Christine Ratliff, Ligonier; Crystal Diehm, Ligonier; Caleb Bernard, Ligonier; Cord (Bernard) Tucker, Ligonier; Ragon Tucker, Ligonier; and 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her mother: Alice N. Lasley, Clifton, Colo.; a sister: Joan Forney, Clifton, Colo.

She was preceded in death by a son: Joseph Bernard; her father: Marshall Bernard; a sister: Bonnie Simpson; and a brother: David Bernard.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home.
