The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team was able to outlast Columbia City in a marathon match Monday night.

The Vikings picked up a 23-25, 25-16, 25-20, 16-25, 15-13 win over the Eagles.

Senior star Caylie Teel paced the Vikings with 23 kills in the win.

Alexis O’Connell had six kills and Kayla Scott and Maddison Heninger each had five for the winners.

Jaden Biddle led the defense with 26 digs. Olivia Trippiedi had three service aces.

Valley, now 10-5 on the season, hosts LaVille Tuesday night.
