The Whitko boys soccer team rallied late to forge a 1-1 tie with Central Noble Monday night.

The host Wildcats trailed until Tyler Herendeen scored the tying goal in the game’s final two minutes. Daniel Kirkham assisted on the goal.

Whitko goalie Jacob Helton had 26 saves.

Volleyball Team Topped

The Whitko volleyball team lost 3-0 to a strong Rochester team in Three Rivers Conference play in South Whitley.

The Zebras took the league match 25-11, 25-13, 25-7.

Elaine Warner led Whitko with10 assists and 20 digs. Tressa Keim had four kills.

The Whitko junior varsity volleyball team defeated Rochester 25-24, 25-18.
