The Whitko boys tennis team collected its first win of the season Tuesday night.

The host Wildcats edged past Rochester 3-2 in Three Rivers Conference play.

Cole Bechtold led the way for Whitko with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.

The Wildcats also got a straight set win from Bailey Platt, by a 6-2, 6-2 final, at No. 2 singles.

Whitko took the win as its No. 1 doubles duo of Alex Bechtold and Alex Robbins posted a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win.

Austin Nettrouer lost in straight sets at No. 3 singles and the No. 2 doubles team of Nick Rose and Jared Arnold also lost in two sets for the Wildcats.

Whitko hosts TRC foe Manchester Thursday.
