Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incident:

• Monday, Sept. 8, 11:41 p.m. Battery and strangulation reported at the 300 block of Buffalo Street in Warsaw.
• Monday, Sept. 8, 9:09 p.m. Public intoxication and criminal mischief reported at the 300 block of Sophie Lane in Warsaw. When officers were dealing with the subject, one officer was reportedly battered.
• Monday, Sept. 8, 5:43 p.m. Emergency detention required for an incident at the 4100 block of Heron Blvd. in Warsaw.
• Monday, Sept. 8, 2:41 p.m. Items reported stolen from a vehicle at the 900 block of Briar Ridge Circle in Warsaw. The incident is still under investigation.
• Monday, Sept. 8, 11:06 a.m. Hit and run reported at the 1700 block of Center Street in Warsaw. Damages estimated up to $5,000
