This past week State Rep. Rebecca Kubacki, Kosciusko County Councilman Ron Truex and Kosciusko Lakes & Streams Program Manger Anna Burke judged each of the barrels in 12 different categories, following is the list of winners:

Best Color Scheme, Most Outside the Barrel, Most Imaginative Use – Warsaw Koi sponsored by City of Warsaw, artwork Warsaw HS Art students

Best Use of Materials – Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County, Campbell & Fetter Bank (tie)

Best Local Representation, Best Conversation Piece – Allegra Print & Imaging

Best Concept – Jayde Rice

Best Creation – Beacon Credit Union sponsor, Michaele Marks artist

Most Bizarre – Campbell & Fetter Bank

Most Peaceful – Kosciusko County Soil & Water Conservation District

Best Artist – Lake City Bank sponsor, Angie Thompson artist

Best Lake Representative – Lake City Radio sponsor, Northfield HS Art Dept artist

People’s Choice award voting continues until Friday, June 8, voting can be done at www.kosciuskohabitat.com/fundraisers/rain-on-kosciusko/2012. Best in Show will be awarded to the barrel receiving the highest auction bid.

The 21 rain barrels that invaded downtown Warsaw will remain on display until Saturday, June 9, when Rain on Kosciusko 2012 concludes with an auction during the Northern Indiana Lakes Festival starting at 3pm on the main stage. Bidding for the barrels can be done online leading up to the auction by visiting www.kosciuskohabitat.com/fundraisers/rain-on-kosciusko/2012.
