images copyBOURBON – Powerful Plymouth flexed its’ muscles in blanking host Triton 5-0 in prep boys’ tennis action Wednesday.

The undefeated Pilgrims lost a total of eight games at the five varsity positions in the win.

John Hunter paced Plymouth with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Jared Fisher at No. 1 singles.

John Gerard topped Gavin Eads 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 for the Pilgrims.   Nate Knapp completed the singles sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 over Mace Eads.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of Ryan Johnson and Max Holloway won 6-1, 6-0 over Alex Eib and Austin Sellers. Plymouth completed the shutout as Braydon Davidson and Nick Felke stopped Spencer Glingle and Ben Waggoner 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Plymouth improves to 5-0 on the season. Triton falls to 3-2.

Triton won the junior varsity action by an 8-0 final.

Triton hosts Whitko Thursday and Plymouth plays at Warsaw.
