Elkhart County Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing to investigate the death of a 33-year old-female who was found deceased inside of her home early Monday afternoon.

At approximately 1:40 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were called to 67996 CR 23 in New Paris to investigate the death of Lecia Borzeniatow. She was found deceased inside of her home.

Sheriff’s detectives, who continue to investigate the death, are working with the Elkhart County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of death.

The Elkhart County Coroner’s Office completed Lecia Borzeniatow’s autopsy Wednesday at approximately 11:20 a.m. The cause of death is pending toxicology results, however, the autopsy did show signs of heart disease.
