The Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals will meet this evening to discuss allowing a commercial building to be used as women’s shelter in a residential area.

The Beaman Home is needing to expand its services and has petitioned the Warsaw BZA for a variance from development standards.

The Warsaw BZA usually meets on Monday nights in the Warsaw Common Council’s chambers, 302 E. Market St., Warsaw, but due to the holiday the meeting will be held this evening at 7 p.m.

Board members are Rick Keeven, Sean Boylan, Derrick Haniford, Mary Ellen Jordan and Elaine Call who is the Warsaw Common Council liaison.
