Warsaw’s Memorial Day ceremony at Oakwood Cemetery was well attend this morning by veterans, their families and others were simply to came to honor our military service men and women from past and present.

The Warsaw High School Band performed patriotic music during the ceremony and the American Legion Post No. 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1126 combined honor guard marched to the amphitheater to post the colors. The commander and the auxiliary president placed wreathes on Legion Circles one, two and three and it was followed by a 21-gun salute. The guest speaker for the service was Richard Maron.
