The Whitko volleyball team dropped a marathon match to Churubusco Tuesday night in South Whitley.

The Eagles rallied to top the Wildcats 26-24, 17-25, 24-26, 25-15, 15-13.

Tressa Keim led Whitko with nine kills. Setter Elaine Warner had 27 assists, while Delaney Ray had three aces. Maddie Gawthrop led the Whitko defense with 35 digs.

Whitko, now 1-1, will play at Manchester Thursday night.

Soccer Team Blanked

The Whitko boys soccer team lost a 6-0 final to Plymouth.

Whitko, now 1-1, will play at Manchester on Saturday.
