The Kosciusko County Council started its 2015 budget hearings at a special budget hearing on Monday, Aug. 25. The full county budget proposals have been supplied here.

On Monday, the council heard presentations from the extension office, the county assessor, county auditor, emergency management, county clerk, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, the county prosecutor, and the county recorder. The budget for Kosciusko County Commissioners was tabled so the council could get clarification on a line item.

The council will have another hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
