Your business may already be smoke-free, however, if it isn’t, there’s a lot you should know before the Smoke-Free Law goes into effect on July 1.

Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce, Syracuse/Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, K21 Health Foundation, and the Kosciusko/Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition have teamed up to help your business understand the law, answer your questions, and help you with compliance.

Mr. Daniel Gray, director of the Kosciusko/Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition will present the workshop. He is an expert on the Smoke Free Law and has access to many resources to help your business comply.

There are two times and locations scheduled for this workshop for your convenience:

  • Monday, June 4, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive, in Syracuse. To register for this event, please call Tammy Cotton at 574-457-5637.
  • Tuesday, June 5, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the K21 Health Services Pavilion, 1515 Provident Dr., in Warsaw. Register online for this event at WKChamber.com, or contact WKChamber at 574-267- 6311.Attending a workshop is FREE, however, your registration is requested to ensure resources will be available for all who attend.Additionally, any business attending either of these workshops will receive a $15 discount for any of their employees that register for the Cessation Support Group at the Warsaw YMCA for resources on how to quit smoking.
