On Aug. 22, 2014, members of the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau located a black Hyundai Sonata, which matched the description of a vehicle reported as having been involved in multiple daytime residential burglaries that had occurred in Jefferson and Concord Townships.

Working in conjunction with Parole District 8, officers with the Sheriff’s Department found multiple items of stolen property at the residence of Crispin Harper, age 20, located at 55000

2^nd Ave., in Elkhart, as well as in the vehicle. Crispin Harper and Kaytlyn Lodewegen, 21,  of Mishawakage were both arrested on preliminary charges of burglary.
