Syracuse BZA Hears Sole Case

A petition for a variance was partially approved by the Syracuse Board of Zoning Appeals Thursday evening. Alexander Moore requested the construction of a two-story residence addition 23 feet from the right of way and an open pergola 18 feet from the water’s edge.

The property is located on east side of Lake Drive and 76 feet south of Palm Drive at 910 S. Lake Drive, Syracuse.

The setback of 23 feet from the right of way was approved, but the water setback and pergola were denied.

The next meeting is at 6 p.m. Sept. 18.
