Jane ‘Janie’ A. Kuilema, 61, of North Webster, Ind., passed away on Aug. 21, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born on June 11, 1953. She was married to Doug Kuilema for 40 years. She was his best friend, lover and confi dant.

She was “Momma” to LeeAnn Kuilema Miner. She was the one LeeAnn called first to share her joys and sorrows with. Janie was Nana to Danielle and Elizabeth Miner. She cooked for and with, danced with and celebrated with her granddaughters.

Janie will be greatly missed by her husband; daughter; two granddaughters; father: Hank Waltz; brothers: Phil and Dick Waltz; and sister: Jody Gordon.

A social gathering and celebration of life will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the North Webster American Legion Pavilion. A celebration of life ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the North Webster American Legion Pavilion. Eastlund Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
