Sonfest Community Day is returning to Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God in Silver Lake to offer a day full of family-friendly fun. Activities include an inflatable water slide, obstacle course, petting zoo, train, carnival games, gospel music, face painting,

Food ranging from sloppy joes and hot dogs to snow cones and ice cream will be served. There will also be a clothing giveaway and prizes.

The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, 303 S Jefferson St (SR 15), Silver Lake. Everything is free.
