On The Grow, a new children’s clothing store, celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony in Warsaw recently.

The store, located at 809 E. Winona Ave., specializes in gently worn children’s clothing sizes newborn to 20. In addition, On The Grow also has gently worn maternity clothing, new and used accessories and even toys.

Store manager Courtney Schapson Clark says, “I feel that Warsaw needs a store specializing in gently worn children’s clothing because the prices are so much better than new clothing. Children seem to outgrow them after one season of wear.”

Purchasing clothing rather than consigning is preferred says owner Butch Schapson.

“I decided to locate the store on Winona Avenue due to the ease of getting there,” says Butch Schapson of the location. The Schapsons also own Sherwin & Lins Discount Grocery and Bargain Barn, both located at 1900 Winona Ave.

On The Grow accepts gently used, stain-free and freshly laundered clothing, accessories and toys from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
