Voters all over the state and in Kosciusko County have begun to show up early this morning at their designated voting locations to participate in the primary election. Those who have not yet voted are reminded to provide a government-issued photo identification before they can cast a ballot. The ID must display the voter’s photo, conform with their name on the voter registration record, have an expiration date and still be current, and issued by the state of Indiana or the United States government. Amanda Dennis, above, shows her son, Caleb Dennis, how voting is done at the Syracuse Community Building, which is housing several Turkey Creek Township precincts. The precincts at the community center have seen a somewhat slower turn out in the morning compared to past elections. (Photo by Sarah Wright)
