SOUTH BEND – Playoff tickets for the South Bend Silver Hawks will go on sale Aug. 4.

The Hawks are scheduled to play the opening round of the Midwest League series Sept. 3-5. The best two-out-of-three series will pit the Hawks versus the second half winner of the Eastern Division.

The playoff opener for the Hawks Sept. 3 will be a road game. The Hawks will host game two on Sept. 4 at 7:05 p.m. and also host game three, if necessary, on Sept. 5 at 7:35 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 4 and can be purchased at the Hawks Box Office, by calling (574) 235-9988 or online at www.SilverHawks.com. The ticket office at Four Winds Field is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Hawks, the Class A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, are 62-45 overall on the season. South Bend went 40-29 in the first half of the season to finish in second place in the Eastern Division. The Hawks are currently 22-16 in the second half.
