Kulp Takes On Goshen Softball

imagesGOSHEN – Goshen High School’s softball program has struggled the past couple years. Monday night, the program received a boost with the hiring of Brent Kulp.

Kulp helped turn Jimtown into a state power over a 15-year stretch. Under his direction, Jimtown earned five Northern State Conference championships, five sectional titles and two regional titles during those 15 years while his teams compiled a 285-133-1 record.

Kulp is a graduate of Manchester College, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education and Health Education. Kulp was a physical education teacher in the Baugo school system for 18 years.

Kulp will teach physical education and work as a Title 1 instructor at Chandler Elementary school in Goshen.  Brent’s wife is Corie they have a son, Connor.
