Sunday, July 27, 1:50 p.m. 312 E. Fourth St. Driver: Miklya M. Alvarado, 34, Milford. Alvarado was backing from a driveway and struck a large portion of a downed tree. Damages: up to $1,000

Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accident:

Sunday, July 27, 12:39 p.m. Lake City Highway and East Center Street. Drivers: Terry P. Burgh, 48, Cheyenne Drive, Warsaw; and Luano Goering, 59, North Colfax, Warsaw. Burgh was westbound on U.S. 30 and said he looked down for a moment when the light was green. When he looked back up the light was red as he entered the intersection, striking Goering, who was eastbound on Center Street. Goering complained of back pain. Damages: up to $10,000

Goering complained of back pain. Burgh was not injured.
