Robert Joseph WeinhofferRobert Joseph Weinhoffer, 83, of Warsaw, passed away at 7:04 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.

Robert was born on June 12, 1931, in Bethlehem, Pa., to Julia (Kern) and Joseph Weinhoffer. On Feb. 16, 1957, he was married to Maryanna (Braxmeier) Weinhoffer, who survives in Warsaw.

He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1954.  He worked in sales for Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for 37 years, retiring in 1992.

He has been a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past three years where he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife; three sons: Robert Weinhoffer, Jr., Dallas, Texas; Joseph Charles (Mary Ellen) Weinhoffer, Gilette, N.J.; David Thomas (Tina) Weinhoffer, Houston, Texas; daughter: Susan Zogbi, Winona Lake; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters.

Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225, Argonne Road, Warsaw, with a rosary service held at 12 p.m. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, and will be officiated by Father Phil DeVolder. Burial will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
