Geneva W NewmanGeneva W. Newman, 73, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1941, to Charles and Thelma (Stanaford) Hale in Boons Camp, Ky. She was married to Larry E. Newman for 25 years. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2011. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

She served for 27 years as a machinist and blueprint ready for Weather Head/Dana Corporation, Columbia City.

She is survived by her daughters: Georgena Mitchell, Warsaw; Tammie Davis, Warsaw; three sons: Larry D. (Brandie) Newman, Pierceton; Charles Victor (Kimberly) Newman, Goshen; and Troy Duty, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren: Rachel Mitchell, Grace Mitchell, Paul Taber II, Brittanie Davis, Celina Hayslett, Gregory Newman, Ashlen Morrow, Michael Newman, Ean Morrow, Aaron Morrow and Zane Morrow; one great-grandchild: Adalynn Newman; one brother: Charles Hale of Palmyra, Tenn; one sister: Lorraine Honeycutt, Servia.

Geneva was also preceded in death by Albert Hale, Ivory Browning, Emily Price, Troy Hale Jr. and Allisha Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, IN. Funeral services will be also held at 12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at the funeral home with Bishop Gary Paxton officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
