Harold WaltersHarold R. Walters, 83, North Manchester, died at 1:38 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born May 12, 1931, in Ligonier, to Sherwin and Ruby (Cornelius) Walters. He was a US Army veteran serving in Korea.

Harold was a self employed brick layer and a member of Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake.

He is survived by three sons: Tim Walters, Silver Lake; Jeff (Julie) Walters, North Manchester; and Jack (Tina) Walters, Goshen; six daughters: Jodi (Jason) Barrett, North Manchester; Kelli (Jamie) Stroud, Roann; Patty (Travis) Coburn, Sidney; Jenny (Tim) Taylor, North Manchester; Joyce Walters, North Manchester; and Janet Walters, Tampa Bay, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Eel River Church of the Brethren, SR 14, Silver Lake. Services will be officiated by Rev. Dan Riccius. Burial will be in South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake.
